This is the 4th year of the Paris Summer Tap Intensive led by French- New Yorker tap choreographer, Roxane Butterfly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Previous to her presence in Paris, Roxane conducted annual International workshops in her studio space in Barcelona, the Jimmy Slyde Institute<\/a>, where she shared her experience learning from the legendary Original Hoofers in New York, especially Jimmy Slyde. Students from all over the world converged to “J.S.I” to learn from this direct heir of the last bebop masters.<\/div>\n

The PARIS SUMMER TAP continues the tradition of the Jimmy Slyde Institute well-sought after workshops. Roxane’s classes focus on hoofing technique, musicality and stylistic. Her pedagogy approach blends the jazz knowledge inherited from her masters, _especially Jimmy Slyde, and her take on contemporaneity.<\/div>\n
