Pedagogy
Appreciated for her teachings, Roxane has taught in major american universities and some of the finest dance schools on Broadway (Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center). In 2010, she founded the Jimmy Slyde Institute in Barcelona (JSI), in memory of her mentor Jimmy Slyde. Her pedagogy is based on  transmission, preservation, innovation and the rehabilitation of tap’s historical narrative within its african-american perspective.
